Andrea Warner Stidham, PhD, RN is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio and is the Associate Editor for OJIN. Her clinical experiences include adult and pediatric psychiatric/mental health nursing and neonatal intensive care nursing. Andrea received her BSN and MSN from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio and her PhD from the Joint PhD in Nursing from Kent State University and the University of Akron. Her research interests and authored articles focus on healing from trauma, including posttraumatic growth, for survivors of sexual violence, HIV-positive pregnant and postpartum women, and spouses of deployed U.S. service members.
