OJIN BSN Manuscript Review Panel (new for 2018)

The OJIN BSN Manuscript Review Panel is a new initiative comprised of baccalaureate-prepared nurses with an interest in learning about and participating in the peer review process. Members of this panel are recommended by members of the OJIN Advisory Board. The purpose of the panel is twofold; 1) to offer nurses at the baccalaureate level an opportunity to become involved in the publishing process and develop skills, and 2) to assure that OJIN content is has clarity and meaning to readers of varying educational levels.

BSN reviewers do not recommend acceptance, revision/resubmission, or rejection, but serve as an adjunctive review for select manuscripts in addition to, and not to replace, our current peer review process. BSN reviewer comments and/or questions about the content are taken into consideration as we make decisions and also as we recommend revisions for authors, if appropriate.
